The State Government is investing in health infrastructure to provide South Australians with better health care closer to home.
We’re building the new Women’s and Children's Hospital to provide holistic, world-class healthcare and facilities for babies, children, young people, women and their families. This commitment is in addition to upgrades to the existing hospital site.
We’re also upgrading our suburban hospitals, including significant improvements to The Queen Elizabeth and Modbury Hospitals, and revitalisation of the Repat site.
Plus significant upgrades at our regional hospitals, including:
- Fire safety upgrades at health and aged care facilities at Eudunda, Loxton and Kapunda Hospitals.
- Sterilisation facilities at Naracoorte, Kapunda and Angaston Hospitals.
- Installation of generators and electrical upgrades at Waikerie, Bordertown, Clare, Peterborough and Coober Pedy Hospitals.
- Regional aged care facilities and other upgrades.
