Apex Park is a well visited reserve in the City of West Torrens that supports active and passive recreation. Stage 1 of the redevelopment was constructed in 2018-19 and in order to continue developing the aspirations of the Apex Park Masterplan, the next stage of work will now commence.

This project aims to not only improve functionality and accessibility at the site but also address safety concerns due to the dense vegetation located along the northern edge of the wetland. The works will not only benefit the reserve and its users, but also the wider community as the link with River Torrens Linear Park will be strengthened to ensure a seamless network for pedestrians and cyclists is created.

Key highlights include:

  • a new playspace
  • construction of a junior bush BMX track
  • event space
  • improved walking and cycling paths
  • improved connection to River Torrens Linear Park.
