The project aims to improve productivity and economic benefit by providing access for high productivity vehicles to the South Australian Livestock Exchange, and also improve road safety in the area.

The project will upgrade the Port Wakefield Highway junction with Carslake Road and the South Australian Livestock Exchange (Dublin Saleyard) entrance.

It will allow future provision for use of up 53.5m long triple road trains from Port Wakefield Highway to the Dublin Saleyard and improve safety at the junction with Carslake Road.

This project is jointly funded by the Australian and South Australian Governments.
