George T Fisher Playground is Victor Harbor's premier regional playground, attracting children and families for generations.
The redevelopment of the playground has been long overdue (last upgraded in 2002), with the upgrade split over two financial years.
Stage 2 will complete the project to rejuvenate this play space including a mounded play area with slides and climbers, and a pathway connection through to the foreshore, defining the edge of the Soldiers Memorial Gardens.
The project will provide greater linkage between the foreshore, foreshore promenade, Causeway Plaza, Soldiers' Memorial Gardens and adjoining Flinders Parade, Railway Terrace and Warland Reserve.
This project is delivered through local council.
Total investment: $200,000 (council investment: $100,000, state government grants: $100,000).
