The intersection upgrade will improve safety, capacity and connectivity at one of the most important locations in southern Adelaide.
The upgrade will improve connectivity, capacity and safety for all users at the junction of Goodwood, Springbank and Daws roads, by constructing a new realigned four-way intersection.
On average more than 60,000 vehicles a day travel through this location with travel time delays in peak periods.
The treatments for the new four-way intersection include:
Early works began in early 2020, with the new four-way intersection opened in April 2021 and the project due for completion in late 2021, weather permitting.
This project is jointly funded by the Australian and South Australian Governments.
