This project forms part of the multi-staged redevelopment of the Dry Creek Linear Park, which flows from the hills in Wynn Vale to the Little Para River Trail near the Barker Inlet.

It involves the development of the Dry Creek Linear Park from Park Way, Mawson Lakes to Montague Road/Main North Road, Pooraka.

The development will provide safe pedestrian and cyclist connections across Park Way and Montague Road/Main North Road through the construction of underpasses, and encourage and provide opportunities for active recreation, including walking and cycling.

The project involves:

  • Development of a DDA compliant shared-use path.
  • Underpass construction at Park Way and Montague Road/Main North Road.
  • Park furniture, solar lighting and way-finding signage

This project is delivered through local council.

Total investment: $2 million ($1 million in state government grants).
