The State Government is investing in a better public transport network and is committed to delivering increased connectivity, faster and more reliable travel options and increased use of public transport.

Construction of the Paradise Park 'n' Ride Project commenced in December 2019, and finished in August 2020, increasing the number of car parking spaces from 458 to 818 (including nine Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) compliant car parks), an increase of 357 car parking spaces.

In addition, provision was made for 24 motorcycle and more than 30 bicycle parking spaces.

The project supported approximately 78 full-time equivalent jobs over the construction period.
