Reimagining KI Parks is part of the state government’s $52 million investment in rebuilding essential parks infrastructure to support and rejuvenate Kangaroo Island’s visitor economy after devastating bushfires on the Island. This investment is replacing and improving infrastructure in bushfire impacted areas to welcome visitors back to parks, as well as renewing facilities in non-fire affected areas to enhance the visitor experience.

Key highlights include rebuilding infrastructure at iconic sites, such as Remarkable Rocks and along the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail, and building a new visitor hub in Flinders Chase National Park.
