This project will see the construction of a larger, fit for purpose ambulance station that will provide accommodation for up to 20 staff and garaging for five 24/7 operational vehicles.

To be built in an optimal location within the City of Alexandrina, the station will help to ensure the South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS) can maintain acceptable service delivery functionality into the future.

The construction of a new Ambulance Station is needed to support current service delivery and will provide flexibility to cater for future changes such as increased workload demand, the introduction of single response unit or higher levels of clinical care through accommodating Extended Care Paramedics if required.
